A rare co-incidence occurred on September 9 when two people were bitten at the same time in "New Smyrna Beach." Marco Cardiel was standing while John Graham fell off his surfboard (on top of the shark). Both men carried away superficial wounds. Against media reports, these 2 incidents marked the 14th and 15th so far in Florida.
