35-year old Chris Boyd was surfing at Umbies off Gracetown, when he was struck by a white shark. Although he was brought to shore quickly, he died from blood loss. The shark severed Chris' leg arm, and part of his right leg was missing, as well. This was the 4th fatal incident in the last 2 year at the same site. A catch & kill order is in place.
