Nahum Verdugo Aguilera wanted to dive off the coast of Puerto Penasco. Witnesses say that he was not even submerged for one minute when a shark rushed in, bit off one of his legs, and severely inured a portion of his abdomen. Although he was rushed to shore, the boat was 10 km off shore, every help was too late. The boat Nahum was on was fishing at the time of the incident, at least indicated by news outlets. That a rather large shark must have been close to the boat is evident, even more so since fishing was going on. The boat has been confiscated by the authorities.
