This is another proof that these "shark repellants" like the one used in this case, called "SharkBanz" don't work. Zack Davis got bitten despite wearing this gimmick. I have called this device useless many times before... and this is another proof that it does not work. Something we already knew. For all the surfers out there: save your money, not just for this gimmick but all the others out there as well.... btw: check our latest publication (go to sharkschool.org) where we finally could show that the 'mistaken identity' where sharks, especially white sharks, mistake surfers for seals is incorrect.
